Ashes 2005 First Test Preview

The stage is all set, the action begins in over 4 hours time. England have already conformed their eleven. Harmison, Hoggard, Jones and Giles complete the bowling attack. Australia have to make one decision before they declare their eleven. It is going to be between Gillespie or Kasprowicz. It is likely that Gillespie will be in the eleven, inspite of his poor run in the ODI's. The Aussies look a formidable attack. McGrath needs one more wicket to reach 500. With all the Australian batsman in good touch, it should not worry them in that department. England have been aggressive in the ODI's, they should continue being aggressive and have to take all the opportunities that come their way. Pietersen the new man, Flintoff and Bell are the men to watch. All in all everything is in place. So let the ball roll and let the Ashes begin ........
