Final Test - part 1
Hello and welcome to an intro on the England vs South Africa Test match, the 4th in the series. England have a new skipper in the form of Kevin Pietersen and Bopra replaces the former skipper Vaughan in the batting line up. Steyn will miss the Test due to a broken thumb, an injury he had sustained during the second Test.Strauss believes making Pietersen the captain is a brave decision, since he was also in contention for the post. How brave he is will be visible when England face off on 7th of August.
The question to be asked is can England win the Test for some pride? or will South Africa look for their 3rd win in the series? For the all the answers stay tuned to my blog......more to come.
India vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test
The series is alive after India won the 2nd Test at Galle, it was a great comeback after losing the first Test. The final Test is on the 8th of August. India will surely be buoyed by the win and they will like to stamp their authority by winning the match and Sri Lanka will be hurt and they would be roaring to win. All in all a fitting climax in store for everyone. More to come.......
News just filtering in Gary Kirsten is unavailable for the final test as he has gone to be with his ailing mother.

Champions Trophy Reports
India v West Indies was a contest which West Indies could have knocked out easily, but they almost let the match slip from their grasp, India could have won the match if the Indian bowlers would have bowled at a length and not bowl short. West Indies came out winners by 3 wickets...
In two days we were treated to two of the best ICC champions Trophy matches, the first was between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, in which Pakistan were the winners by 4 wickets. The very next day we had another wonderful match between the World Champions Australia and the former ICC Champion West Indies, it was big upset there, with the West Indies winning by 10 runs. It was a great contest. More to come.......
The ICC champions Trophy is underway with the qualifying matches going on. Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and West Indies the former champions fight it out for the two spots. The qualifying matches end on the 14th. India play their first match on the 15th against England at Jaipur.

Binoy Reporting
Sri Lanka take on South Africa in the first test at SSC Colombo. Jayasuriya is back in the squad and he will most likely open the innings in place of Vandort. Vaas is ruled out of the match due to an hamstring injury he picked up at the end of the England tour.
The South African had a good practice session in their warm up match. All the batsmen looked good. Pollock in the squad will bolster the bowling attack. Prince will be leading the team for the first time, it will be interesting to watch how he takes the responsibility from Smith, who twisted an ankle prior to the tour. Watch out for more in this blog.

THRILLERS
The second Test was a thriller and provided the much excitement. England winning a thriller, greatest test matches of all times. The Third Test was also as exciting as the second one, going to the last ball of the day. England required only 1 wicket to win this too, but Lee and McGrath played 4 overs to survive and end the match in a greatest of draws of all times. Flintoff from one end and Harmison from the other end attacked the last pair. The pair played well to put off every kind of Dynamite thrown at them. Ponting played a great innings of all times to score 156. He was the 9th wicket to fall. He played from the morning when Langer fell off the first ball of day5. He came and played true captain's Knock, a match saving knock. True champion batsman.
More to come, please stay tuned. This is not the end of Ashes, it is the beginning of more to come in the final two tests.
